Phnom Penh, January 19, 2018 – Cambodia’s Best Employer Brand Awards 2018 has awarded Cellcard as one the most sought after employers – for the 7^th consecutive year.

The award was presented at a ceremony held in Bangkok on January 12 which was attended by almost 100 senior leaders from Cambodia and Thailand.

Accepting the award on behalf of the company, was Cellcard’s Group Head of Talent Acquisition, Mr. Vibol Chan, who is instrumental in consistently elevating the human resource management standards at both Cellcard and its sister companies under the Royal Group of Companies.

“It is an honor to be recognised as one of the country’s Best Employer Brands,” Mr Vibol said.

“Cellcard’s reputation as an employer is important because it plays an essential part in talent attraction, especially in a market where key skills are scarce.”

He continued; “What is working for us is employee advocacy. We do not do expensive recruitment campaigns nor do we advertise heavily on employer brand. Our people are our strongest ambassadors. They are proud of what they do. They find meaning in the activities that they join, make good and lasting friendships and ideas, to learn make decisions and grow.”

Chief People Officer for Cellcard and the Royal Group, Mrs Nicky Enriquez said the win inspired the team to do more and to do better.

Cambodia’s Best Employer Brand Awards was hosted by the Employer Branding Institute to recognise organisations who have excelled in building their employer brand. Endorsed by the Asian Confederation of Businesses, the event attracted business leaders from Cambodia and Thailand. Other award winners included the Royal Group of Companies and world renowned brands such as Coke and Unilever.
