Phnom Penh August 1, 2018 – At a press conference to announce Cellcard’s Ookla Speedtest Award win for Q1-Q2 2018, the only 100% Cambodian-owned telecommunications giant turns industry pioneer as it makes another announcement – the launch of the Cellcard Network Guarantee – the country’s first and only.
The Network Guarantee serves as another proof point of the telecom’s commitment towards providing the best quality network and connectivity to all Cambodians.
Cellcard Chief Executive Officer, Ian Watson said “being Cambodia’s fastest network does not only mean enjoying fast internet but more importantly being on a reliable network whether it’s on internet, calls or SMS. The Network Guarantee, which starts from August 1, offers up free minutes to customers who experience service interruptions in the form of dropped calls. Reports can be made by dialing up a hotline 6010, after which, 5 minutes will be credited back together with an SMS notification, after a short verification process.
On top of being a proof point to Cellcard’s network reliability, Mr. Ian Watson says that the Network Guarantee also serves to reinforce transparency and encourage dialogue between the operator and its customers on its network performance and service. “Our customers feedback is of utmost importance as we continue to build and improve our network in preparation for 5G,” added Ian Watson.
