Cambodia needs your vote: 5G Asia Operator CXO of the Year Awards

Cellcard today proudly announced that Chief Executive Officer Ian Watson has been officially shortlisted in this year’s Operator CXO of the Year Awards by 5G Asia.

The nomination, from the team at 5G Asia, follows Cellcard’s increasing global recognition for its super-fast 4G network.

Cellcard’s focus now moves to preparing for 5G and Mr Watson will take the stage at the 5G Asia conference in Singapore later this month to share his vision for Cellcard 5G in Cambodia.

Cellcard's Latest Network Achievement Awards

Following its consecutive Ookla Speedtest Award wins from 2018 to 2020, Cellcard resurfaces and dominates once again in the Ookla Speedtest Award Report for Cambodia 2023 as Cambodia’s Fastest Mobile Network. The prestigious Ookla Speedtest Award was presented to Cellcard in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona – the world’s most influential connectivity exhibition – on 28th Feb 2023.

Opensignal awards Cellcard as the clear undisputed winner for Download Speed Experience and Excellent Consistent Quality, plus four joint awards for Video Experience, Games Experience, Upload Speed Experience, and Network Availability. Cellcard last reported on its Opensignal awards in 2017-2018 as a result of its aggressive 4G rollout initiative that expanded the network footprint from three hundred to three thousand.

After celebrating its 25th anniversary, the only Cambodian-owned, single-market telecom operator, Cellcard of the Royal Group of Companies, makes history by achieving a place in the Global Rising Star Awards 2023 by world-renowned independent analytics company, Opensignal.
