Cellard claims naming rights for the first and only 4DX cinema in Cambodia, operated by renowned cinema group, Major Cineplex.

The naming rights for the 4DX hall is announced together with the unveiling of the new 4DX cinema name – Cellcard 4DX Theatre, which was done Nov 1 at Aeon Mall with the participation of Cellcard Director of Marketing, Niek Van Veen, and Major Cineplex by Cellcard GM, Sokny Sao.

Cellcard is the exclusive telecommunications partner of Major Cineplex Cambodia. The partnership which was announced since June last year includes naming rights for both the cinema and the bowling lanes, separately branded as Blu-O. The naming rights i.e. Major Cineplex by Cellcard and Cellcard Blu-O, however has not included the 4DX cinema, which was incorporated later that year as an addition and a separate entity.

As of Nov 1, Cellcard completes its naming rights of the current Major Cineplex business in Cambodia, with the renaming of the 4DX cinema hall.

The unveiling of the Cellcard 4DX Theatre coincides with a 4DX Festival as a special treat to all Cellcard subscribers who carries the Cellcard Rewards cards. The festival which starts today until the end of the month will allow all card holders to enjoy a ‘buy1 free1’ promotion on 4DX tickets.
