Cellcard provides ‘Contactless Booths’ to help people use the Covid-19 Vault

Published Date: May, Friday 14, 2021

Cellcard has launched three special contactless booths in Phnom Penh to help people download the Pouk Mak App and load their documents into the Covid-19 Vault.

The Covid-19 Vault was officially launched today to give Cambodians a safe and reliable system to digitally store their vaccination cards.

The vault service is inside the Pouk Mak Chat App – the first Chat App in the world available in Khmer.

Cellcard Chief Executive Officer Ian Watson said the booths would be manned by Cellcard team members to assist the public to download the app and load their cards into the Covid-19 Vault.

They can also provide other basic services such as SIM cards and scratch cards.

“Our booths will provide a complete safe service with full facial masks, hand sanitiser and partition wall to ensure proper distancing,” Mr Watson said.

“If people need help using the App, or have any questions at all about their data plans or even if they just need a scratchcard we will be there.

“Cellcard will do all that it can to support people most in need and be on the front line when and where we are needed most.”

The booths are placed at Stueng Meanchey, Ou Bek Kaorm, and Phum Ruessey  and are operating from 8 am until 6 pm seven days a week.
