Cellcard partners with People in Need Cambodia for online campaign to promote women who inspire the nation

Published Date: March, Monday 08, 2021

Marking Women’s Day this year, Cellcard has launched a special set of videos in collaboration with People in Need Cambodia to celebrate Cambodia’s inspirational women.

The campaign uses three motivational hashtags along with Cellcard’s three strongest female talents to spread awareness and pride in women.

#GenerationEquality #IWD2021 #SheEmpowers.

In the videos which are now live on Facebook, Cellcard Ambassador Suzana Reth, beauty blogger Sreynea and influencer Mina share their own stories of challenges in their lives to encourage women everywhere to stay motivated to achieve their goals in life.

“Sometimes when you achieve great things there are many haters who work to discredit you and with social media they can be hurtful,” said Suzana.

“My message to women is to be stronger than these people, believe in yourself and don’t worry about what other people are thinking about you. Never let them get in the way of your goals.”

Everyone who sees the videos on Cellcard, Cellcard Play and People in Need Cambodia Facebook pages are encouraged to share them to the women who inspire them most and include personal messages of gratitude.

The most inspiring stories discovered in the campaign will be further shared across Social Media for nation-wide recognition.

The campaign collaboration from Cellcard and People in Need Cambodia is the first of many humanitarian initiatives to come this year following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties in January.

“People in Need Cambodia are leading a great range of worthy programmes right across Cambodia and Cellcard is proud to be associated with the team and help spread awareness of the work they do,” said Cellcard Chief Executive Officer Ian Watson.

The collaboration will see Cellcard and Royal Group support PIN programmes such as Disaster Management, Covid Response, Gender Equality and Women’s and Children’s Rights.
