Cellcard has added to its growing list of international accolades after it was awarded the Best Mobile Network Provider Cambodia 2020 by International Business Magazine. Cambodia’s proudly 100% Khmer-owned mobile network operator also won the award in 2019.

The Dubai-based International Business Magazine launched in 2018 and has quickly been recognised for its coverage of global brands and trends in the Finance and Technology sectors. Cellcard was the only Cambodian recipient of an award in the telco and technology sector.

Cellcard Chief Executive Officer Ian Watson said, “We are thrilled and proud to again be recognised as a leader in Cambodia’s telecommunications sector. The recent recognition adds to a growing number of international awards from independent global experts. This is a glowing testament to the work we put in, to offer the best network in the country and place Cambodia at the forefront of innovation.”

The announcement this week follows other awards in 2020 as Cellcard won Cambodia’s Fastest Mobile Network 2020 and Cambodia Best Mobile and Digital Lifestyle Provider at the Finance Derivative Awards.

Cellcard also won the Best Gaming Experience category from Opensignal in July 2020 and previously six Ookla Speedtest awards between 2017 and 2019.

Watson added, “it fuels our efforts and progress in ensuring we continue to provide a superior network experience in Cambodia for our customers. It sets a great precedent for us to go on to deliver 5G in the near future. “

Cellcard’s innovation and network success story features in the latest issue of CIO Bulletin and  the company is listed as one of the 30 Most Valuable Companies to Watch in Business Brainiac magazine published earlier this year.
